I really like older computers, especially because they make great distraction-free writing and music composition machines that you can airgap.

IBM ThinkPad 755CX

When I was a teenager I had a ThinkPad 755CD that I used extensively. I really missed it, so I jumped at the chance to acquire a 755CX and matching Dock I in working condition recently.

What I've done so far

Install an IDE-to-SD card adapter
Install FreeDOS as a distraction-free writing environment

My plans

Fix the lock tumbler on the Dock I and install some additional storage
